Majority vs. The Chosen Few

Many have tried, few have done. Many have lost, few have loved. Many have battled, and few have conquered. I’ve traveled the path of many, yet I live amongst the few.

Memo

She said I was doing too much | but she was doing too little | So I let her go | but apparently she didn’t get the memo.

ketnamor-deactivated20111004 asked: if you walked into a barbershop/beauty salon..and theres two stylist..one of them their area is clean, spotless and they are perfectly qroomed and the other one is dirty, hair on the qround and their appeal is not as fresh.. who would you qo to?

To the average person, automatically one would think “that’s a no brainer. I’d go to the one that’s spotless and perfectly groomed.” BUT being me and understanding that people ask questions, especially those that appear to be simple, for a reason. I’d say in this case, I’d go to the one that appears less than desirable. Reason being: Hair on the floor indicates they’ve been working, constantly, consistently and potentially hard, because they’ve had no time to clean up. Which is also indicative of their appeal being less than obtained. Meanwhile, the other stylist has nothing but time on their hands, no sign of clientele, so the least they could do is be fresh.

Love Testament.

Yesterday evening in the park, a friend and I were discussing our current past relationships and the impact they’ve had on us, the lengths we’ve gone, and the variation of lessons we’ve learned. Also, I came to the realization that romantic relationships whether it be male::female ; female::female ; male::male or however, are ultimately all the same. People are people, jumbled up together in search of attaining one significant thing ——> Love.

Now to the reason I’m actually here:

“If you love someone, let them go, for if they return, they were always yours, and if they don’t, they never were.”

This quote sparked my inquisitiveness and so I think: To what extent do we let it go and to what capacity does it return?

Because if we only have to let it go a little, why suffer through letting it go fully? And if by letting it go completely, it doesn’t return in a greater degree and capacity as it initially existed, why would we want it back? Does it serve us any purpose?

I dug deep on this subject. So many questions, and I’m on a quest to know this. Stay tuned. Meanwhile, wrap your minds around this with me and share your thoughts as they flow.

P.S. I’m back. Even if only for a short while. ;) Another post is soon to follow at http://orang33.wordpress.com/

Anonymous asked: DO YOU LIKE GIRLS ? CAUSE I DON'T ; BUT I MAY SECRETLY LIKE YOU ! ;)

Cute. If you secretly like me that would indicate that you like women, perhaps just not publicly. At least ‘til now. Thanks for sharing. ;0)

Yo, my imagination is running wild with this! The colors are immense.

nikography:

going through old photos at night and came across this. it’s from nichols park, circa 2006, in new jersey. my nana took me here all the time growing up, and i’ve also spent many nights here in college and high school. hell, i’ve hung out here post college. this place rocks my world.
this park has: huge wooden castles, lots of secret passageways, standard park stuff like swings, tire swing, sandbox, weeping willows, waterway, things to climb on and a small secret bridge next to a tiny waterfall with a lowered platform that you can sit on.
